第五十四章  德普天下

善建者不拔，善抱者不脱，子孙以祭祀不辍。 修之于身，其德乃真；修之于家，其德乃馀；修之于乡，其德乃长；修之于国，其德乃丰；修之于天下，其德乃普。故以身观身，以家观家，以乡观乡，以国观国，以天下观天下。吾何以知天下然哉？以此。

Peace in Universe

He who is well established in the Tao will not be rooted up,

He who has a firm grasp of Tao cannot be separated from it.

Thus from generation to generation his ancestral sacrifice will be honoured forgenerations.

When the virtues from Tao  are cultivated in a person, he becomes genuinevirtue. When the virtues from Tao are cultivated in a family, the family becomesabundant. When the virtues from Tao are cultivated in a community, thecommunity becomes lasting. When the virtues from Tao are cultivated in a country,the nation becomes prospeous. When the virtues from Tao are cultivated in theworld, the globe becomes harmonious.

Cultivate it in the world, And it will become universal.

Therefore: According to the virtues from Tao, judge the personalityof the individual; According to the virtues from Tao, judge the family traditon;According to the virtues from Tao , judge the village customs; According to thevirtues from Tao, judge the harmony of the state ; According to the virtuesfrom Tao, judge the current level of human pure consciousness enlightenment.

How do I know about the world? By the root to the universalintelligence within me.

善于建德基者根基稳固，善于守道业者永不松懈，所以子孙厚德祭祀永续。以宇宙之大德修身养性，个体既能得到真德滋养辅佑。以德修家，家庭就富足；以德治乡，乡里安定长久；以德治国，国强民富；德行天下，就会普惠万物众生。因此，以德来推断人品，以德来推断家风，以德来推断乡里的风气，以德来推断国家的文化根基，以德来推断天人的和谐。

我怎么知道天下井然有序呢？ 就是以无形的道德来观察有形的万物显现，由内在的“小宇宙”观外在的“大宇宙”。
